I was honoured to be asked to be a part of photo shoot for www.LUXUP.com Hong Kong & Macau, as part of their 3 part “Style Tribes” introduction to Hong Kong. Moreover I was tickled pink to know that I was going to be shot with fellow Glamamama’s Leigh Tung-Chou and Yolanda Choy-Tang. Nothing eases awkward moments in front of the camera as much as close girlfriends 🙂
The fabulous article by Elizabeth Peng, editor-at-large of Luxup is already up on their site.. so please visit and have a read and a browse of this global luxury rewards programme shopping site!
I thought it would be fun to share some of the out-takes (from my camera) that didn’t make it, especially most of the standing compositions by the windows of Cafe Gray at Upper House. Why? Well I think it was primarily a balance issue, where gorgeous ladies, Leigh and Yolanda towered over me despite my ankle crippling 6 inch Christian Louboutins.
Make-up: check; Hair: check; Wardrobe: check… The photographer, Untill Chan, setting up in the private room of Cafe Gray, at Upper House, Hong Kong
This was the first shot that we tried. As you can see, my 6 inch Louboutins DID NOT help my “stature” next to these two towering beauties!
So, we tried a seated pose…
and then another one…
Until finally we found a plain wall where Leigh and Yolanda kindly removed their heels, so that my height challenge was no longer apparent, and voila! THANK YOU LADIES!!!
